Mountain’s Edge Cactus Cup

The World’s Greatest Mountain Bike Race & Festival is Back!
And it’s raising funds for HERA and awareness of ovarian cancer. 

Olympic athletes to beginner mountain bikers will be getting ready for the Mountain’s Edge Cactus Cup in Las Vegas. A fundraiser for the HERA Foundation, those interested in getting in on the action can learn more at www.cactuscuplasvegas.com. 

The a three-day mountain bike stage race and festival is being held September 19–21, 2008, at Mountain’s Edge and on the Cottonwood Valley trails in Las Vegas. Special raffles and event will be held during the three days to raise funds for HERA. Women’s race numbers are teal and all competitors can wear teal ovarian cancer awareness bracelets.

Touting the largest prize purse this year in U.S. mountain bike racing, the stage race is open to men and women and includes:

• The Exploration Peak Time Trial
• The Super D
• Fat Tire Criterium
• The Cottonwood Cross Country
