1997

Sean participates in FDA approved clinical trial in Nashville, TN, followed by her fifth surgery

Sean collaborates with Johns Hopkins on Ovarian Cancer Information Project and completes web site: http://ovariancancer.jhmi.edu

Sean is transported via “Flight for Life” to Johns Hopkins for emergency surgery and goes into remission

Sean forms the HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation
Inaugural HERA Climb4Life Utah is held
The HERA Valley Cancer Support Fund (CO) begins with HERA’s first Community Grant

The first HERA OSB1 Research Grant is awarded to Dr. Brant Wang
HERA continues to support the HERA Valley Cancer Support Fund (CO)
A second Community Grant is awarded to the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Nevada (NV)
The 2nd Annual Climb4Life Utah is held with double the participants
