Where: Nepal

ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP TREK

An amazing and unique opportunity to visit the rarely seen north side base camp of Annapurna. This is a very special trek for a very special cause. We will be traveling through some of the most beautiful and remote areas of the Himalayas en route to Annapurna. As the famous British explorer Bill Tilman said of the Annapurna region."it is the most mountainous region, of a very mountainous country".

Our trek will take us through lowland forests, magnificent terraced agricultural areas, and into the high mountains of the famed Annapurna Sanctuary. Very few outsiders travel to the north side of Annapurna, and this is truly a remote and beautiful area, surrounded by the world's tallest mountains. Along the way we stay in local villages and enjoy the hospitality of the Nepal people. This trek is as much a cultural experience as it is a mountain travel experience. A full support staff of porters and Sherpa cooks and guides while trekking is included. This trek is open to all experience levels of outdoor and cultural enthusiasts - from beginners to experts. Although we will be in remote locations among the world's tallest mountains, this is not a technically demanding hike.

As Part of the Dare to Dream Annapurna Expedition, the trek will help raise awareness for Ovarian Cancer - one of the deadliest and most misdiagnosed of all cancers
