In our lifetime, it is likely that we will each know a woman, or women, facing the devastating impact and effects of ovarian cancer. We may not know her directly, it may be your neighbor’s sister, or the young woman that plays soccer with your daughter, or your yoga teacher, or…it doesn’t matter who, they are women we know.
Join the HERA Honor Roll! Donate now and your support will be used to educate and raise awareness about the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, empower women to be their own advocates, and to fund cutting-edge ovarian cancer research. Of the funds HERA raises annually, at least 85% provides for our programs such as our scientific research grants and our community awareness grants.

Other Gift Types
Please check with your financial advisor for current tax laws and deductibility of donations.
Gifts of cash (one-time and ongoing) qualify for a full charitable contribution deduction on your taxes. Make a credit card donation or mail your check to: HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 6147, Denver, CO 80206.
Event sponsorships enable your company to support an organization that serves your community and demonstrates your commitment to your community. See Sponsors for more information.
Gifts can be given in memory of a loved one or a dear friend or colleague. Additionally, gifts can be given as a tribute to honor someone. These gifts not only provide a charitable deduction but also serve as a strong acknowledgement of someone important in your life.
Many employers provide a matching gift program that can double or even triple your gift. Check with your company’s community or corporate contributions office to find out if this opportunity is available.
HERA’s annual year-end appeal campaign occurs through the Community First Foundation’s Colorado Gives program. Click here to donate to HERA. A benefit of giving through this site is that at special times of the year, such as Colorado Gives Day, incentive funds are provided for each gift donated.
Some donors take advantage of the additional tax savings that can come from bequests, stock donations, a life insurance designation, or from an IRA. Consider naming the HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation in your will to receive a bequest. Even a very small bequest will help. You can also name HERA as a beneficiary, or a secondary beneficiary, in your retirement account. Learn more about legacy gifts that can have a tremendous impact and help ensure the future of HERA. Planned giving opportunities help donors fulfill their philanthropic objectives and diversify HERA’s funding sources.
Though HERA is not a United Way agency, you may designate a gift to HERA through your local United Way, or on your own. After taking a small percentage of the total donation, United Way sends the remaining amount to HERA. Consider setting up a United Way donation to HERA on a quarterly basis.
